Balloon Swan (Magenta), 2019
The originalBalloon Swanby Jeff Koons (2004–2011), a monumental sculpture standing over 3 meters high, was made in mirror-polished stainless steel with transparent color coating in five unique versions: magenta, red, violet, blue, and yellow. Koons partnered with Bernardaud to create the porcelain Balloon Swan (Magenta), which simulates the mirror-polished stainless steel of the monumental sculpture in highly reflective magenta porcelain. Producedin a limited edition of 999, each piece has the artist's signature and edition number fired onto the verso.
